Who am I? I’m a college student, currently a sophomore, attending Rochester Institute of Technology in New York (State).
I have emotions lately that predominate how I live my life. I love words. I overuse hyphens, and add -esque at the end of many words at random.
I have academic pursuits that are usually put first. I consider myself intelligent and an intellectual, but I don’t show it. In fact, I am so shy that it sometimes gets in my way. I also have trouble figuring out whether to push or pull a door to open it. You could say I need help in the “common sense” department of life. I can’t cook.
I’m very self-conscious, and so I don’t believe in myself as much as I probably should. I over-analyze the smallest of actions, and I’m a perfectionist. I try as hard as possible to be kind to everyone, for no one human being is no more valuable than another. I’ve been hurt before, so I try to stay level-headed at the same time. I can’t help but put up walls. I have major trust issues.
I’m a second degree black belt, so I can defend myself. I was valedictorian of my high school, and right now I have a 3.9 GPA in college. I’ve been playing piano for 12 years now. I write a little here and there. In terms of what I listen to, my taste is a fine mingling of pop, alternative, and alternative pop. Lady Gaga is my favorite solo artist.
In terms of my sexuality, it is what it is. I identify with being bisexual, but I think sexuality is fluid. I am more attracted to men. That’s all I feel obligated to say.
I have a wonderful boyfriend now. He’s making life for me much more beautiful than it has been. I am happy.
This is who I am. But you can always find out more.
